“Pretty & Wild” - There is a kind of beauty that cannot be bought, filtered, measured, or approved by the world.
It is the beauty of a woman who knows who she is. Not because life has been easy. Not because every dream unfolded according to plan. Not because she has escaped disappointment, heartbreak, rejection, or loss. But because somewhere along the way, she discovered that her identity was never meant to be rooted in the shifting opinions of people. It was meant to be anchored in the unchanging love of Christ.
The world begins teaching us conformity from the moment we arrive. Follow the rules. Stay within the lines. Keep up with the crowd. Measure your worth by achievement, appearance, status, productivity, and approval. Run faster. Do more. Be more. Chase what everyone else is chasing.
And so many women spend their lives trapped in a race they never wanted to run.
But there are others.
Women who remember. Women who remain creative when the world demands practicality.
Who remain soft when life has made them hard.
Who remain hopeful when disappointment comes knocking. Who remain passionate when cynicism feels easier. Who remain free even when culture celebrates captivity.
Who dream when others settle.
Who shine when others hide.
The world often calls them too much.
Too colorful.
Too emotional.
Too expressive.
Too wild.
But perhaps that is exactly how they were created to be.
After all, have you ever noticed that creation itself is pretty and wild?
The oceans refuse to stay still. The wildflowers bloom without permission. The stars illuminate the darkness without apology. The mountains stand boldly against the horizon. None of creation asks for approval before becoming what it was created to be. Neither should you.
The truth is that many women spend years asking the wrong question. "Am I pretty enough?"
Pretty according to whom? The world changes its standards every season. What is celebrated today is discarded tomorrow. Trends fade. Applause fades. Youth fades. Human opinions shift like sand beneath our feet. But God sees differently.
He looks beyond appearance and into the heart.
He sees the woman He carefully formed before the foundation of the world. The woman He created with purpose, personality, imagination, strength, tenderness, courage, and light.
The woman He called beautiful long before anyone else had an opinion.
Your beauty was never meant to come from fitting in. It comes from becoming. Becoming the woman God created you to be.
Fully alive.
Fully free.
Fully surrendered.
Fully radiant.
A woman who is both pretty and wild.
Pretty in spirit.
Wild in faith.
Pretty in kindness.
Wild in purpose.
Pretty in love.
Wild in courage.
You are His masterpiece.
Not an accident.
Not a mistake.
Not too much.
Not too little.
A masterpiece.
So let the world see the light God placed within you. For a woman who knows her worth in Christ becomes something truly beautiful—
A soul that is both pretty and wild.
