The original art piece was lovingly hand-made by artist Leah Tinsley. This piece was painted LIVE at Beach Park's "Raise the Roof" art fundraiser. It was auctioned/sold during the event to one of the members, who then donated it back to club. It will permanently grace the walls of the clubhouse for generations to enjoy. Now you have the opportunity to own your very own copy of this beautiful tribute piece.
Incorporated in the painting are two hidden messages. 1. From one of the club’s very first members and past president, Ethel Brorein, coined what could be the club’s motto: “Food, friendship and philanthropy” Those are three words we all live by. 2. Patte Ayala was another past president. She was a member of the club for over 50 years and took many members under her wing. She was fond of addressing many by “my dear” and saying “Oh isn’t that wonderful.” As a tribute to these two club pioneers, their words of essence of what they stood for have been written/hidden within the grass.
